Personal and professional growth lessons from online business mentors

“I really want you to look at, listen to, read, and study the content from online business and marketing people because, I'm telling you, you're going to learn so much more and grow so much more personally and professionally by studying them.  There are clues to your success in them.”

-Bonnie L. Frank

Jim Rohn said, “Success leaves clues” and that is such an important lesson. In this episode, I explain how to find and use clues that successful online business and marketing mentors leave in their content. These lessons are everywhere. EVERY DAY.

Whether you're on Instagram, Clubhouse, Twitter, Facebook or Tik Tok, you can see how your mentors are using the platforms and how they're sharing their valuable information. I think it's important to not only look at what they're doing but also HOW they're doing it. Study your favorite online business mentors, they all have this in common and really listening for how they got where they are today can...

Gratitude, Growth, Pain and Success in your Online Business

There's actually some truth to the saying, "No pain, no gain..."

In this week's episode:

  • I don't think you can have success without pain.
  • Personal growth must happen before business growth.
  • You can't really separate "personal" from "business."
  • Going through the pain solidifies the strength you have on the other side.

A swift kick to the rear end with inspiration and motivation for all entrepreneurs

It can be difficult for entrepreneurs to muster on during difficult times, especially with feelings of doubt, uncertainty, isolation, and depression.

In this week's episode:

  • This episode was taken from a "Reflections from the egg chair" Facebook live broadcast.
  • I used a dual caster mount to broadcast on two different devices (my iPhone and iPad) and two different places (my Facebook profile and Facebook business page) simultaneously.
  • The more people who take some action (like, love, comment, share, save, archive) on your social media posts, the more of your content those people will see.
  • YOU are responsible for what appears in your social media feeds.
  • You need to share content that is share-worthy on social media.
  • There are so many things happening to entrepreneurs all over the world right now, including isolation, and depression.
  • Because you follow me, you are very likely: kind, passionate, nice, likes to help others, and wants to make a difference.
  • People who are negative,...

Don't you dare take NO for an answer, mindset and other ways to have business success

You should never accept the word NO or "that's impossible" for an answer in your life or your business.

 In this week's episode:

  • I do not want you to ever take the word "no" or the phrase, "It's not possible" as possible answers in your life or your business.
  • Those are not possibilities in my life. (I give detailed examples in the episode)
  • When someone tells you "It's impossible" it only means that it's impossible for the person talking...it has nothing to do with YOU, your life, or your business success.
  • Everyone I knew said I would fail as a business coach.
  • I started (and succeeded) anyway.
  • Failure is part of success.
  • If you truly want to succeed, you CANNOT accept "No" or "impossible."
  • Success (an manifesting) requires making a decision plus action.

Being transparent, authentic and sharing too much on social media

We're often told that it's important to be "transparent" and "authentic" online, but how much is too much to share on social media? We answer this and more on this episode of the Business Fabulous podcast.

In this week's episode:

  • Please stop paying attention to what others are doing on social media--it's crazy-making.
  • Take a "social media cleanse" for a reality check to what's truly important.
  • Look at how many minutes/hours you're spending on social media! (Your smartphone will track this.
  • Please don't eat on live video unless eating the food is a food review, etc.--super rude to your viewers.
  • I define transparency and authenticity (they do NOT mean the same thing) online and what this means for your branding.
  • Why Bonnie's on so many social media platforms.
  • How many social media platforms YOU should be on.
  • Why I get over 27,000 Pinterest views every month.

What social media platforms should you be hanging out on for your business visibility?

This week on the Business Fabulous Podcast, I answered one of my most often asked questions: Where should you be hanging out online? In other words, which social media platforms should you be spending most of your time on?

In this episode, you will learn more about your audience, Google Analytics, social media insights, and your sales as well as:

  • What the "best" platform is to grow your business.
  • How you determine where you should be online.
  • How you can determine who is actually following you online and where.
  • Where people are finding you online.
  • When your audience is online.
  • How you can determine who your audience is without having a website.
  • Who you should target through social media, blog posts, ads, etc.

At the end of the episode, I challenge you to look at your insights/analytics and tell me what you learned about your audience, who they are, and where they're hanging out online. I'd love to learn about your audience! Email me what you learned at [email protected].
